2012/03/22Since the development of Nadirim was taken over by Twisted Tribe from Digital Reality, I haven't been really tracing the events around the game on Gregorius' corner. But it might be worth mentioning, that the hungarian language version has been finished already. As the language pack has arrived in the company of numerous major world languages I'm pretty sure that there was some influence of the hungarian past and of the couple of hungarian artists still working on the game at Twisted Tribe.

It was meant to present the engine of their upcoming title, GCross Racing ChampionshipG, in the form of a small game, dressed in winter holidays. Couple of years ago its sequel, Santa Ride 2, have arrived as well. Now, after 7 years, the guys have remastered the game using the Unity engine, making it playable from your browser. Its environment and gameplay have also been altered to provide some replayability. Donations made through the game is offered by the development studio for charity reasons.
2012/02/09Tightly not, but vaguely the following is rather relevant to hungarian game development. The Budapest based Digic Pictures have won the competition of Video Game Awards in the game trailer category. Their partners include Blackhole Entertainment for the videos of Armies of Exigo, Warhammer: Mark of Chaos or its expansion, Warhammer: Mark of Chaos - Battle March. 2012/01/04And now the turn is on the newswes development of CyberphobX, the Police Simulator 2. The shear existence of the sequel to Police Simulator prooves that the german market was really buying the original title. Fundamental change compared to the previous episode is that instead of a 2D upper view, now you can manage your policemen in an isometric environemnt. You can find images implying this on the official website of the game as well as three videos. All three videos are the same but they come in english, german and hungarian as well. This implies that the game will be released in hungarian language in Hungary too.
2012/01/03Now I'm going to take the next game in line from CyberphobX, the Traffic Manager! This game was also intended for the german market, which had been grateful by granting numerous awards in Germany similar to Police Simulator mentioned before. You can find two videos on the official website of the game, they are the same but one in english and the other in german.
